Sunglasses and prescription eyewear, donated by Uxbridge area residents and optometrists, recently made the 8,750 kilometer trip to the Buduburam refugee camp in Ghana, West Africa. Sunglasses help protect the refugees from the blazing sun that can lead to many vision problems including blindness.
